Dr. Summy Smart Francis (hc.) is a social and serial entrepreneur with vast experience in entrepreneurship development. He has launched and led initiatives across Africa to support entrepreneurs.

He studied Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies at Harvard University and Copywriting/Creative Direction at AAA School of Advertising, Johannesburg. He serves as the Special Adviser (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) to the Ondo State Governor and is Chairman of the Ondo State Entrepreneurship Agency (ONDEA).

As the President/Founder of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E), active in 20 African countries, and Chairman of SSF Investment, he plays a key role in driving entrepreneurship growth. He is also the Executive Creative Director of MegaMindz Production and a Non-Executive Director on multiple boards across Africa.

As Chief Visionary Officer of the world’s first Entrepreneurship Village—Africa’s “Silicon Valley”—he champions innovation and knowledge transfer. A TEDx speaker and Global Speakers Academy board member, he holds Nigeria’s first Honorary Doctorate in Entrepreneurship from TB University, Brooklyn, USA, and has received multiple global awards.
